Waves of Change at HC Napa—New Look, New Location---Fifth Anniversary
NAPA, CA—No doubt, HC (Huffman Communications) has a lot to report this quarter. The big whoopee is HC’s anniversary. As we enter our fifth year as Napa’s largest full-service design and public relations firm, we have re-launched our identity and changed locations. Come see our nouveau colors that emulate our new look and feel (our new office is just a few doors down the hall from our former location).
Stepping in as Public Relations Account Manager, Bethany Zepponi joined the HC team to oversee Public Relations for Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Castoro Cellars and to develop new wine-related Public Relations business. Bethany’s resumé includes Public Relations for Diageo Chateau and Estate Wines, and L.A. Country Fair Wines of the World Competition. While living in the Central Coast, she owned a Public Relations and Marketing firm and wrote a food and wine column for the local newspaper.
Our digital photography studio has expanded, and Ken Prosser (KP) is capitalizing on cutting-edge technology. He has been on assignment with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars release shots and Davies Gate Skin Care Products. Capturing the refined beauty of the Davies Gate line, KP shot over 50 images for their new products, “Remedy Roots.” They can be viewed at daviesgate.com.
Maps for the Friends of the Napa River (FONR) are now in the last planning stages and upon final proof will be available in late June. The maps will be used for educational tools to teach local students about the history of the Napa River.
Art enthusiasts will be delighted to see the Dinah Cross James Web site (dinahcrossjames.com). Dinah is a nationally acclaimed artist who has lived in Napa for five years. We are very honored to be working with an artist of her caliber. HC has taken her abstract expressionistic art to new limits on her Web site, displaying her work as full-page images. In development are Web site shells for Long Communications, Five Star Productions, and Division 8 Kiwanis. Napa Valley Party Services (NVPS) has also partnered with HC for creative strategies.
Working in conjunction with Don Huffman, Ronnie Tierney will manage the Public Relations activities for Nomacorc, an international synthetic closure corporation. Nomacorcs have found a prominent niche among many international clients, including Kendall Jackson (USA), Rosemount (Australia), and Reh-Kendermann (Germany). Their media kits (developed by HC Napa) have been dispersed to wine media interests around the world.
After receiving her degree in Business and Marketing, Jennifer Chu has rejoined HC Napa as Public Relations assistant. Jennifer worked as a receptionist at HC Napa in 1999, before returning to school. Along with assisting Public Relations department, Jennifer will work alongside Gerald Parrott, our Creative Services Director.
This will be our last hard copy edition of HC Update. In the future, look forward to receiving your copy via email, and, don’t forget to call us if we can “move you creatively forward.” Contact Don Huffman, Ronnie Tierney, or Bethany Zepponi at (707) 257-2585.
