Van Gorder Joins HC as Public Relations Account Manager

Napa, California – HC (Huffman Communications) announced today the hiring of Mark van Gorder as Public Relations Account Manager. A fourth generation Californian, van Gorder grew up in Napa and brings over ten years experience to the communications agency.

Prior to joining HC, Van Gorder served for six years as public relations manager for Jack Neal & Son, Inc. – a St. Helena based vineyard management company. Before that he served as Executive Director of California North Coast Grape Growers Association and worked with Media Relations in the Executive Division of California State Controller’s office.

Van Gorder has business and government experience, working with city, county and state elected representatives on issues related to the winegrower and vintner industries. He is a graduate of U.C. Davis and served CBS affiliate, KOVR-13 News, Sacramento, in production and news writing.
