KEMPKEY RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES ANNOUNCES NEW DOWNTOWN LOCATION ? DOUBLES OFFICE SPACE
NAPA, Calif. Striving to keep up with expanded risk management services and a growing work force, Kempkey Risk Management Services will be relocating their offices to 1500 Third Street, Suite A, in downtown Napa.
"Last year we augmented our traditional insurance offerings to include two risk control services," said Ed Kempkey, President of Kempkey Risk Management Services. "As a commercial insurance broker serving the wine and other North Bay industries, Kempkey Risk Management Services also provides safety engineering and workers? compensation claims monitoring services. Additionally, they provide training for employers to improve their ability to handle these issues. To accommodate this expansion, Kempkey says his staff has grown 30%.
The new location will enable Kempkey Risk Management Services twice the dedicated training space for on-site seminars in Safety Training, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Assessments and Claims Management. "Our four-step risk management process includes working closely with clients to identity their exposures, develop strategies, implement an effective program, and monitor the results." Kempkey claims that this evolution of incorporating risk management tactics in an organization "not only creates a better safety record and reduction in costs, but also creates a competitive edge over other companies in their market space."
Kempkey added that increased insurance costs, job safety, OSHA compliance and ergonomics are growing issues of concern among businesses. "Our STARR (Safety Training and Risk Reduction) School is designed to help supervisors and managers become better prepared in implementing and maintaining an effective injury and illness prevention program," says Kempkey. "With our new location and additional staff we should be able to continue to accommodate the requests."
Independently owed by Kempkey and his brother John, Kempkey Risk Management Services was founded in 1980. Formally titled Kempkey Insurance, the move to incorporate risk management to their list of services was due to increasing governmental regulation and employer awareness. Kempkey Risk Management Services is one of the first agencies to implement an on-line customer service automated internet access that provides customers with instant response to requests 24 hours a day.
